Aniplex and Crunchyroll Just Dropped the Latest: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- Global Movie Dates [UPDATED]

Hey folks, great news for all you Demon Slayer fans out there! The next part of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is hitting the screens this year, and the Demon Slayer Corps is gearing up for some action worldwide. From February 22, you can catch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- at theaters globally. This one's showcasing the Swordsmith Village Arc finale and a sneak peek at Episode 1 of the Hashira Training Arc!

For our friends in North America, Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Entertainment are teaming up to release the movie in theaters, including IMAX and premium large formats (PLFs), starting February 23. And for the rest of the world, here are the global release dates:

• February 21: Malta, Switzerland (French-speaking)
• February 22: A bunch of countries, including Italy, Brazil, Spain, and more
• February 23: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and others
• February 24: Belgium, France (note: two-day event screening), Luxembourg, and select countries in French-speaking Africa
• February 27: Austria, Germany

And hey, more dates are on the way, including India, so keep your eyes peeled!

Just to recap, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is directed by Haruo Sotozaki at the ufotable studio. Chief Animation Director and Character Designer is Akira Matsushima, with Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina on the music front. The Hashira Training Arc TV anime is set to premiere in Japan in spring 2024.
